The shell is thick with spiral cords of tiny scales that are rough to the touch. The chalky operculum is hemispherical with many tiny protuberances, dark green with greyish and white margins. Body with brown speckles, a few slimmer Tentacle.
Easy to keep and persistent fry that feeds on algae, both growth algae and microscopic particles on the algae.
Spawning is known, as is the reproduction of snails in the aquarium.
